With both Hannah and I being away from the house a good portion of the day, and neither of us being motivated to clean dishes or make dinner, there has been a recent compromise. What we have agreed to is this, one of us will make dinner one night, and the other will clean the dishes for that day. Not a whole lot to this, and we didn’t spend days negotiating to arrive at this arrangement. So, I have decided to take pictures and post them here for everyone to see.
Yesterday was the beginning of our agreement, and today was my day for cooking. So, I fixed a Caesar Salad. It was pretty simple. I used romaine and iceburg lettuce for the greens. The dressing was homemade using anchovies, dijon mustard, worcestershire sauce, olive oil, an egg yoke, with a little salt, pepper, and sugar. The bread crumbs were browned in olive oil. You can’t see it, but I also sprinkled shredded Parmesan cheese on top.
